Adventure for the whole family

Plenty of fun is the key to a successful family holiday. With Brig located in the heart of the Upper Valais, you’re just a short drive or journey on public transport away from all kinds of days out that are ideal for children. There is plenty of variety on offer here. Enough said! Here are some ideas for you:

For inquisitive children

  • Malo guided palace tour
    Discover Stockalper Palace with Malo.
As you walk through different rooms, the story from the children’s book ‘Malo und der Schlossgeist’ (Malo and the Palace Ghost) is told.
Recommended for children aged 4 to 7.

  • On the hunt for gold
    Gold-panning adventure
In the Zwischbergental valley, you can hear the story of the gold rush and try your hand at panning for gold in the stream. The educational factor and fun are at the forefront of this day trip for the whole family.
Recommended for children aged 6 and over.

  • World Nature Forum
At the World Nature Forum, you will learn all there is to know about the Swiss Alps Jungfrau-Aletsch World Heritage Site.

While you’re there, solve an exciting quiz course or visit the panorama cinema. Want to go up to the Jungfraujoch like in 1912? Take a look at the highlight of the exhibition, the Ambassador car of the Jungfrau Railway, and virtually experience the southern approach, which never actually materialised. The ball tracks and games at the exhibition promise plenty of fun for the whole family.
