A nice way to experience the beauty of Brig-Simplon in the Valais is by bike. The region is full of breathtaking scenery and beautiful mountain villages that you can explore on two wheels. The Rhone Route is especially popular. It is one of the best-known cycling routes in Switzerland, leading from Andermatt to Geneva through the Rhone Valley in eight stages.

From Brig to St-Luc, via the Moosalp pass, this fifth stage is one of the highlights of the Valais Cycling Tour.

The Simplon Pass has been a key passage for centuries between the Valais and Italy. The grade of the pass is generally steady throughout the ascension, so you can admire the unobstructed views over the Rhone Valley and into the Haut-Valais while you advance bit by bit into an exceptional Alpine environment.

The stage towards Goms takes you along the young Rhone to Oberwald.Enjoy the tranquility of nature and the sunny high valley.
